Analyse a CSV or Excel file in seconds
Data quality, statistics, filters and charts for your file. It's processed in your browser: nothing is uploaded to a server and no account is needed.
Drop your CSV or Excel file here
CSV, TSV, TXT or XLSX up to 50 MB. Separators, decimal commas and dates are detected automatically.
Your data never leaves your device: everything is calculated in the browser.
Compare the quality of your datasets
Save each version with “Save” and it will appear here.Save this analysis and open another file (another month, shop or export) to compare their quality.
How it works
- Load a CSV, TSV or Excel (.xlsx) file, paste a table or try it with the World Bank's monthly prices.
- The first row is used as column names. The separator (comma, semicolon, tab or pipe) is detected automatically.
- Each column is classed as number, date, text or yes/no when at least 95% of its values fit; numbers accept both “1.234,56” and “1,234.56”.
- Add filters: quality, charts and the download are recalculated with the filtered rows.
How it calculates
- Blank cells: empty or containing NA, N/A, NaN, null, a dash or Excel errors (#N/A, #VALUE!).
- Duplicate rows: identical in every column; each repeat after the first is counted.
- Quartiles by linear interpolation; sample standard deviation (n − 1); outliers by Tukey's rule (1.5 × IQR).
- Histogram using the Freedman–Diaconis rule, between 5 and 40 bins.
- Pearson correlation using the pairs where both columns have a value. Correlation measures linear association, not causation.
Limits
- Up to 50 MB and 200,000 rows per file. Scatter and time charts draw at most 5,000 points (uniform sample); statistics use every row.
- It doesn't read the old .xls format or formulas: it uses the values saved in the file.
- The data only lives in this tab: it disappears when you close it. Download anything you want to keep.
